We are looking for an experienced SEO Editor with a passion for the UK domestic travel industry to help grow our organic presence and ensure our content inspires, converts and performs in search. You will play a key role in shaping high-quality performance-driven content from ensuring it meets SEO best practice while remaining engaging, trustworthy and on-brand.
This role is ideal for someone who knows how to balance people-first copywriting with commercial performance.
- Edit and optimise commercial landing pages and informational pages for SEO, clarity and accuracy.

Ensure best practice use of keywords, metadata, headings, internal linking and on-page SEO.

Collaborate with wider teams to support wider growth and content strategies.

Audit and refresh existing pages based on search performance, seasonality and trends.

Maintain and uphold editorial, SEO and brand style guidelines.

Monitor search engine updates and evolving travel search behaviour.

Use SEO and analytics tools (e.g. Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Semrush) to inform decisions.

Ensure regular cadence of SEO performance monitoring.

Ensure content complies with compliance regulations, accuracy standards and brand tone.
- 2–4+ years’ experience in SEO editing, content editing or digital publishing.

Proven understanding of on-page SEO and content optimisation.

Excellent editing and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.

Experience working with CMS platforms.

Familiarity with SEO and analytics tools.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines, seasonal priorities and content volumes.

Strong communication skills and a collaborative, commercial mindset.

Experience working in the travel, tourism or hospitality sector.

Background in journalism, content marketing or digital media.

Understanding of technical SEO fundamentals.

Experience optimising evergreen and seasonal commercially-driven content.

Familiarity with E-E-A-T principles in content (experience, expertise, authority and trust)
